would you like to be a part of a little community project? We're featuring 27 of Toronto's top and up-and-coming independent cafés for our 2027 Coffee Pass.

Consider it Toronto’s annual coffee adventure that encourages folks to explore a new neighbourhood in the city and support our family and friends behind the counter.

The coffee Pass is available as a physical print or digital download.

A unique activation code is assigned to each Pass.

Supporting local wherever we can, our annual Passes are always drawn by a local, Toronto-based artist.

We encourage folks to take home a printed Pass as a collectable or keepsake of their adventure.

With a Pass and it’s associated activation code, guests easily navigate their adventure through our app.

    Logistics are your forte, leave the marketing to us:

    ✔️ marketing from local content creators and dedicated Pass staff and volunteers (this may include social trends, storytelling, personal interviews, staff interaction, guest appreciation, drink highlights, seasonal menu/food program spotlight, and more)

    ✔️ exchange of professional photos and marketing materials

    ✔️ paids ads across social media, print, web, and community forums

  • End of year data & reports

    Like your business, guest behaviour and feedback help shape the Pass. We analyze usage and engagement patterns throughout the year for more effective marketing and to refine future benefits.

    Your year-end report will include:

    ✔️ redemption rates, peak day/times of redemption, % of first time customers, additional spend items, “word of mouth” potential, and performance against Pass averages

    ✔️ private user comments and feedback only visible to you

    ✔️ public rating and reviews visible to other users on the app

  • Simple setup & Commission

    ✔️ receive 40% commission on Passes sold in-café, with an end-of-month sales report and payout

    ✔️ easy onboarding for staff, requires little to no additional space, set up, or processes

    ✔️ professional onboarding bundle to help you get started

    ✔️ content will highlight both your drink menu and food program to encourage a complete dining experience

    ✔️ messaging encourages longer visits and group adventures (get togethers)

    ✔️ a $5 Pass drink can become a $15+ pastry, snack, second round or return visit

    ✔️ you’re a café that cares; joining a group of partners and sponsors who support community organizations like The Children's Book Bank

    ✔️ cafés that enjoy the results of being a Pass partner will be considered for future projects from seasonal Passes and friendly, community best-of competitions, to city partnerships and collabs with other organizations or sponsors
